Update from Cosgrove

Just a quick update from Cosgrove!  I wanted to make sure I sent a quick note to everyone with a few last minute details for the year. Mrs. Welch’s class will put on a production of “The Munster’s” for our entire school to see tomorrow.  This class has worked incredibly hard to remember all of their lines, as well as help build the sets and costumes.

In an effort to improve Cosgrove, we have set up a parent survey to collect your feedback. Please click on the link below and take this brief survey.   We will take this information and use it to build goals and action steps for next year.  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TNWJJ7X   In addition, the Cosgrove LOTS (Parent Association has set up a fundraiser at Outback Steakhouse up on Ridge Rd. for June 5 from 4pm until close.  Thank you for supporting Cosgrove and if you want to connect to them, please go to their website http://cosgrovelots.weebly.com/

Our 8th grade students have their Moving Up Day on Friday at 1:45 at the high school’s Performing Arts Center.  Families should plan to arrive by 1:30 to make sure that they can park their car behind the high school.  The 8th grade students will be having a meeting today about going to Boston and this is a reminder that students must be at Cosgrove at 5:30 next Friday morning.   We have set up an Instagram account @cosgrove_bostontrip to communicate updates and show pictures while we are away.  Students not going on the trip will be provided a schedule for the day.

Thursday, June 7th is our last official activity period where students can catch a bus after school.  If students make arrangements to stay after next week, they would need a ride home.  Our last full day of classes is on Thursday, June 14th.  Our final exam schedule is located on our homepage.   Students will be provided time to clean out their locker on Tuesday, June 12th. Please have them bring a bag to get all of their belongings home that day.  All lockers will be cabled shut on Thursday the 14th after school and they will not be able to access them again.  The parent portal for Infinite Campus will also be closed after school on the 14th so that there is not any confusion while we complete the grading process.  We will turn the portal on June 25th and it will go offline on the 29th for scheduling purposes.

Again, thank you for your support throughout the year.  Please contact me directly if you have any questions at 349-5302 or [email protected]

Sincerely,

Ned Dale
