Update from Cosgrove!

Good morning.  Who can believe that the last day of school is here?  I came in early to see Mr. Caiazza and the team from Bernabi sleeping on the roof!  We are so fortunate in Spencerport to have such amazing educators and staff to support our students!  I truly feel lucky to be the principal here at Cosgrove!

Over the weekend, our 8th grade students enjoyed the city of Boston.  The students were incredible during our visit and also very patient with the delays and transportation issues we faced.  They really loved the dinner cruise, the Duck Tour, Quincy Market and the New England Aquarium.  Everyone made it home late Saturday.  We will continue to evaluate this trip and try and make improvements.

Exams start tomorrow and the schedule is posted on our website if you need to double check it.  Lockers will be cabled shut after 3:00 p.m. today.  This is a safety issue and a way to ensure the building is secure during exams.  Students should only bring what they need for the exams (pens, pencils, calculators, etc…).    All students will go into the gym while proctors set up for exams each day.  We will release students at 7:55 to get to their exam room.  Orientation letters will go out in early July for next year.

Lastly, we wanted to celebrate our last day with students, so we made a video to share with you and the students.  Please click, watch, dance and enjoy!  https://ensemble.monroe2boces.org/Watch/w4Q9HkMx

Thanks again for another wonderful year

Sincerely,

Ned Dale
